  1. Went and seen it.

Thought the ending was holding a few things open, thought it should have had some of the loose ends tied up some more.

short of that only spotted 1 flaw thus far. (the hammer had all its pads going when just moments before 3 were cut off)

thought the reviews were a bit too hard on it, was definatly a 7/10

  2. I remember working with some fitters and they told me they had to use a slide ruler for working out stuff during the first year of there time, as only second years onwards were aloud to use calculators.

  3. Ok.

Im thinking of gming a game on the forum and i have a few questions about going about it all.

It will be set in my gaming universe i created and the material will be available on the net soonish.

But my question is how far does/should a gm prepair a game?

as i have no idea how the players will respond to any given situation, im not sure how far to plan ahead if at all.

So far i have the basic plot outline and a general rundown for the players, as to what their mission/objective is.

And my rule book finally came and ive been reading that alot and im very keen to have a try at this.

Any insight or advice would be muchly appreciated.

    Thankyou.

  4. After getting a few early knock offs ive been watching a little telly and i caught an episode of spooks mum taped and i think its kinda lame.

Mum has been watching all the episodes of farscape on pay tv that havent yet made it to free to air, and no wonder they axed that show, it just pains me to think about it. Some episodes are bearable but some are just shonky to the max.

Im really getting into the more mechaincal shows on discovery chanell. Thats a clanger. Especially ones on all the millitary vehicles and hi horse power engines.

Short of that thats all that ive had time for.

  5. Well on free to air telly i dont usually go much accept for stargate sg1.

On pay tv i got for all my old favs. Hogan's Heros, Full frontal, Quincy MD, original series of startrek. Plus discovery channel is pretty cool. Also the history channel has some good stuff on it.

Now i got my bedroom kitted out for 6.1 channel sound im starting to watch more dvds in my room.

  6. The place im working at has me kinda concerned. If things arent going sweet as sweet can go doing 84 hrs a week, there sacking people left right and center. Like today they sacked all of the arfternoon shift. They had good reasons too, but i keep getting the feeling ill be next

  7. Now im a real newbie when it comes to role playing especially cyberpunk, im still waiting for my copy of the rules to turn up.

But i do agree that real life does hamper things, but also as far as the gm side of it goes, i think a little extra suplimentry information would be a great idea. example: for more information on x, y or z click this link and download the txt file. As i have found from my very limited experience there is never enough information or there is miles and miles and miles of it. too much makes for too long to read and not enough means newbies like me dont fully understand whats happening so we wait to see what everyone else does.

Sorry if that sounded a bit ranty but i thought i would share that.

Haha - yeah, my copy is on order (along with Wildside) and its taking months and months and months for any word to come through about it... :S

I just want it for the mecha stuff really :)

Along with my copy of the main rule book, which im going to be chasing up on monday.

And once i get my rule book i will be hooking in and getting my cp universe up to a level where i will be looking for some online players.

  9. If your in england/europe, try tracking down that show "whats the big idea" they have people from the patent office and people to fund inventions (from big corperations) if it they think it will work or rather make money for them and you.

Well due to my new job I will be here less often since it seems to be that I am going to be working a bit of overtime every week.

    Welcome to my world.

  11. i knew watching medical detectives would have paid off.

Perhaps he as listening for small stress tones in there voice. They showed on medical detectives how they pinned a guy as a suspect when they noticed subtle changes in his tone when he was asked some questions about how the chick was killed. then some technical guru came in and told the camera the ins and outs of it all.

maybe he just brushed up on some of that.

btw you can shoot yourself in the head and not die. One of the most memorable for me anyway. Was a case about a bloke who suffered from a cronic cleaning disorder where he would practically steralise everything he touched. He shot himself in the head and survived, but damaged part of his brain. *Now in comes the spooky music* the bit of his brain he damaged was responsible for him suffering from his disorder curing him. and oddly enough. he has no other impairments.

just thought i would share that.
