Well when im not living at work, i enjoy kicking back playing old games i havent beaten. or watching a dvd or just letting the music crank (love my new amp)

Working out in the shed (doing weights and stuff) when im on small shifts.

Hitting the p!ss with mates some weekends trying to get to new levels of mental incompetence

Ok im in need of some help.

Imagine if you may.

You work for a government agency. The A.I. that runs the building you work in has gone rogue and started killing select people and kept alive those of any future use. The Government commando type dude has managed to sneak in via built in design flaws in the builiding and survellence blind spots (purposly engineered into the building, in case of this type of disaster.) Your in the middle of nowhere, there is no long range communications equipment with in 100km of your current location. You need to keep intouch with said Government commando type dude to update him of any enemy movements.

You have electronic equpiment availalbe from a lab. The A.I. can hear most of whats goin on in the office building.

How would you go about making short ranged internal communication?

Secondly lets say buy using *insert method here* setup so you can stay in touch. The ai can hear all of what is being said. How would you code or encrypt your transmissions so that the Government commando type dude can quickly deciphere the transmissions but yet keeping it flexable enough to alter the encryption or cypher and have your communications "safe"?

Sure who wouldnt jump at the oppertunity to have some high tech bits installed to make work easier, leasure activities that much more competitive. The list goes on.

Money can be an interesting angle with this kinda tech. Imagine a company wants people kitted up to do the job in such a way that cyber enables you to do it quicker and easier, then they would outlay the cash to have you go under the knife. Or offer incentives or the likes.

Personally i would love cyber eyes that allow me to do my job with out fear of going blind or having microscopic blisters form on my eyes, aka welding flash, and is like the sand man has come to visit you, all night long.

on the cosmetic side of things, something that makes my hair do all kinda stuff. I.E. Go from Crew cut to AFRO to mohawk then back to crew cut.

Maybe an arm or leg but for me eyes i can modify and tweak up. proli some other stuff that i cant think of now but i will go "arh yeah one of those" when some one posts something else up.

I agree Booky, The Hobbit was a pleasure to read, the fellowship was good it moved, the second installment chugged in a few places. and the third book was better but i was completley p!ssed off with the ending, but im just one voice.

Now on the flip side, some people i know really dig the whole descriptiveness of a book and dont really care if 3/4 of it are just descriptive sentences about whats going on in the local area.

Now a little off topic, thats why i like warhammer 40k books, losts of description and lots of no holes bared violence and action to get the pace fair hookin.

If a lot of artists pc and music would lower there astrof*ckingnomical overheads on their products people wouldnt pirate them/down load them from kazaa. If most major retailers had a cool off period like Electronics Botique (sp?) (where if you didnt like the game you could return it, with in 7 days with a few minor clauses, but you got the whole of your money back) people would by more games legit like. As theres nothing worse than buying a game and then finding out its not as fun as the hyped up demo made it out to be.

Thats a touchy subject at best. Sure piracy hurts artists and companies. But if they lowered there insane markups on their products piracy would drop because people would go buy the dinkum model instead of paying old mate to run em off a copy.

and as for piracy with boats, well i would have no objections to japanese whalers or boat people getting done by em, but thats about it.

Ben seeing that the OTV is almost ready for flight, decides to go find a security console and check for any anomalous (sp?) readings or phantoms on the internal secrutiy system.

Well i reckon suit tech will be the go, after seing the guns that are designed to shoot around corners, it wont be long before this kinda tech is implimented in suits.

Ive heard that the Dvd Set for return of the king will have an extra hour of footage put back into it.

Playing it by the book is good, keeps you legal and out of trouble, but surely there are some grey areas you can exploit a little to make em squirm a little.

Rutger is such an awesome actor, he is very flexable in the genre's he works in. He has made some awesome movies, Lady Hawk being an excellent example. He conveys the power, and emotion of Navar (sp?) the former captain of the gurards.

He was excellent in Blade Runner, the power and passion he showed while playing his role.

Personally i reckon he is a top notch actor

i feel that it has, and when u go in blind and have to nut things out. Plenty of in game hacking and nice blend of action too.

Personally i think stuff like the suit/mech thing they used in aliens 2 would be highly likley to happen in the industrial sector in the near future.

Personally i think mech technology is highly possible, using fundamental hyraulic/pneumatic equipment.

But like everything it only takes 1 man to bring down the giant to flaunt its usefullness.

Personally i think something along the lines of mechwarrior type mechs would be very usefull in todays combat, as nukes are a paper lion. Everyone has them but nobody uses them.

Im not opposed to suit tech either. I think that has some real advantages. A good example is from the tv series "Mantis" espeically if you cross it from the tech from the jacki chan movie "tuxedo" where the suit has pre-programmed moves.

so yeah thats just my thoughts on the issue.

And the U.S. can still get its cut, by turning it all into a Jerry Springer Special.

Dude, our news has been censored since the second world war. Thats why sbs is a great news service cause its not allowed to be censored.

and besides once he rolls over and tells bushy where the w.o.m.d.'s and threatens to tell the world there american made he will quietly disapear via some suicide bombing attack or something.
