  1. Hmmm well lets see, a spare 15" monitor, a cd-rom drive, an isa 33.6k modem that worked like there was no tomorrow, about 200 meters of cat 5 network cable, a spare sound card, a 5.1 channel 120 watt amp. (well ok i dont get my new 6.1 channel amp till saturday, a whole 24 hrs away, but close enough) my current sound card sb live value is getting replaced with an audigy 2 6.1 channel card. odds and sods from a 486,  a removeable hdd rack maybe a stray walkman floating around somewhere.

plus the p166 i have at a mates house that msyeriously stoped working.

  2. Well welcome aboard champ.

Your english seems pretty ok to me, and dont stress if your having an off day and its just not working, nobody will nail you to a cross for it.  (as far as i can tell   )

  3. Working 84 hours a week and watching the lack of social life  you had vanish completley. All i do is work and sleep.

It would be nice to go out and have a few beers, maybe even meet some new people, but alas im chained to the machine. AND IT SUCKS.

    What about Cap'n Ahab's

    *cough* Nemo.

Yeah well ok, they had to fudge a little.

But the whole point of the venice bit was to start the war because of the meeting that was going on there by government leaders. Hence people buy automatic guns of the phantom to kill each other with.  I would answer more of your gripes hanns but i dont want to spoil the plot for others who are still humming and haring on seeing it or not. But there is a good reason for it.

well thats my spin on things.

  5. I can see your point hanns, but they were trying to keep with a few themes and not all blend in easily, so there are bound to be a few grey areas, But considering they tried to keep the tech to the very late 1800's i think they did pretty well. Speaking for myself only, when it comes to dvd, it will be one ill be adding to my collection.

  6. Well i was not wrong. (this time, thankfully)

I got Lxg on vcd a week ago, and have watched it a few times now, (its only just hit the cinemas this week over here) and boy what a movie, Its got some good plot twists and leaves you wanting more.

The ending is a pearler, thus hinting at a sequel, hopefully.

Im going to be hitting the cinema to see this baby in all its big screen glory. Deffinatly worth a look.

  7. Erm this movie is in a grey area of my movie tastes because i dont really love/like it but if mum has its on i will sit down and watch it for a bit. Then just get up and go do something else.

    ok brace yourselves.

    Seven brides for seven brothers.

And its does have a bit of biffo in it, so its not just a mushy movie.

  8. The other water heater in the shed is always on, but when i got home dad had just had a shower, so i had to wait till the water got hot enough. But luckilly rockwolf was online and we chatted for a while, That really picked my afternoon right up. as i had a shocking drive home.

  10. Having an online company botch an order again. Looks like ill still be a copy short of blade runner again.

Having to go down the the shed to use the loo and the shower, as the bathroom is getting renovated and the only available facilitys are located at the back of the back yard.

Getting home from work and having to wait 40 minutes for the small electric hot water service to heat sufficient water for a shower.

  11. L & P platers driving slow in the fast lane

Trucks driving slow in the fast lane

4WD's not doing the speed limit.

People who speed up when u overtake and make u resort to doing 160km to over take them, then have the hide to turn their hi beam on.

    Elderly drivers

Having work kinda make you work 66 hrs per week to make their deadlines that have been enforced by some toss pot company who moved the goal posts to make them selves feel important and get the wagons quicker and have them sit in a yard for heaps.

    BEING SINGLE!!!!  :(

Loosing the excuse for a social life you had due to work.

    erm, thats all for now.

  12. Cant help unfortunatly. But if you do find a site, do post the link, cause even i would be tempted to get a purple pork pie hat and matching purple trench coat. Then all i would need is a pair of sun glasses with the peace sign holograms on them and i would be set.

  13. win xp pro, Maily because its just newer and it supports everything under the sun. and for everything it doesnt theres a work around.

and native dual boot support is very nice too.

as i need win 95 and 98 and 98se and me for beta testing. so not having to use a boot manager is nice as winderz will do it on its own. Finally something microsoft did right.

  14. U would have to be out right bonkers not to wear your saftey gear, take it from me, i dont some times and usually get a reminder of why i should.

I have had some experience with scba with confined space work, both as the poor sod being jammed in the hole and as the sentry. And that stuff is worth its weight in gold. Its good news that you and your crew got some good new gear.

Btw does it have the provision for hooking in a second mask to the line? Or do you guys carry those little rescue sets for getting people out of the fires.
