OZ (OOC):
If he does find anything under Jen's truck it'll probably play out exactly the way it did in his daydream...

OOC:
If you want to Ret-Con feel free.

OOC:
Their friend is still at this point walking back to the lot I presume.

Search for
"Virtuality Cybergeneration"
or
"Virtual Front" - the C.Gen supplement that dealt with it
-
Adds one more to the "I think it will suck" and aren't bothered camp.
-
Kea will fully suit back up, suggest Danielle does likewise, stow everything loose and depressuirze the OTV, so any collision or accident doesn't cause a blowout.
-
I feel the urge to ask this:
Why are there Vietnamese in Poland?
Is this a communist thing, or have they come post 1991?
-
Kea will plot trajectories and test that the docking clamps and grabbers are fully functional.
-
For "occassionaly" read "quite often", though usually after someone has posted a design or suggestion that breaks at least three physical laws...

At the time the above was happening, you were strolling back toward the cab company being inconspicuous.Backpost:
Whistle, whistle, whistle.
Look butter not melting in my mouth.

Okay I'm going to post my demographic findings now.
There's a lot of early and vocal Finnish members, but they aren't getting so much new blood...

So, it's Hong Kong, but with Russians.
I feel I want to run a campaign there now.

"I have no intention of panicing, I was planning on saving my panic for when it would do some good."

Kea will take the time out to use the navigation programs and HUD to plot his optimum burn and then seek to use almost all the remaining fuel to match trajectories with the mother ship as best he can. He'll only keep enough back to enable docking with the rescue vessal.
"Mayday, mayday, mayday. Request immediate assistance. Unable to dock, am plotting best burn to match trajectories with Santa Maria, retaining sufficient fuel only for docking with rescue vessal only."
OOC:
Worst case scenario:
Are there any hand held thrusters and jet packs so they could at least try to bail out and walk back to the Santa Maria, or maybe use them to boost the OTV which is probably inefficient.
-
There's the odd Russian guy turned up, but no White Russians who've advertized themsevles as such (of either sort).
Hows relations with the Kaliningrad enclave?

I'm so glad Poland's coming into the EEC, you make it sound like a German / Italian cross.
You enjoy making rules, and enjoy even more getting round them. I'm sure you'll do just fine...
Britain 2020
Fundamental cultural difference between the UK and certian other parts of Europe. When the British agree to rules, they expect people to actually follow them. They get really upset when other nations agree to rules, and then quietly or not so quietly set about getting round them.

"The deep space OTV should have fuel to spare and be able to grab us if we don't end up able to grab you, over. Sounds like the best choice if you are anything of a pilot over."
-
It is, but it goes further slightly further north, and much further west and south.
The fold out map that came with the book is on my wall right now, comparing the two:
Night City covers:
The north-eastern half of map 1
The top two thirds of map two.
None of map 3 (Which you can guess because it's more sparse)
None of map 4 downtown - the large scale map tallies with canon.
-
OOC: I'm cool.

"Jen, come inside, now," Oz speaks quietly and firmly and takes Jen, who doesn't look in much of a position to gainsay him doing anything right now and like she will be going over the edge if left to herself, inside the garage and sits her down. He looks for a fridge or kitchen area to get her a hot drink, tea would be best, caffeine or alcohol would not be ideal.
"It's okay. You're fine, and there are people who care about you who are going to do their damndest to ensure you stay that way. Whoever they are, they aren't after you, they bombed a lot of the cars out their tonight. You think you're scared, good? Have a cry, get it out of your system if it helps. You can do that, because right now you're safe. The guys that did this, they aren't safe."
"They left their guy behind, they don't know if he's alive or if he's dead or what the cops will get out of him or off his body. They'll hope he's dead, but they won't know that. But they know, that if he's alive, when he comes round in hospital, he's going to find a couple of Cleveland's finest at the end of his bed. And they'll give him the "rat out your buddies or rot in the pen" choice."
"These guys ain't pros. It ain't gonna be like the yaks, when your guy goes down for 20 years and you all come to meet him when he gets out in your sharp
suits and streach limos. He'll do what's best for him. Which means the cops will know everything he knows."
"If those guys have brains they'll be laying low and getting out of town. If they ain't doin' dat, well it'll just be that much easier for the cops to pick them up."

Kea does his best to keep his voice calm as he radios into to the mother ship,
"OTV to Santa Maria, we are in fuel critical situation - may not be able to dock. Request assistance over."
He looks at Danielle, "If either of us have any good ideas, now would be a good time. I'm thinking if we could angle te OTV right and vent the O2 tank that would give us some thrust if we really needed it?"
