"Does this guy do biz here, or is this just his base? We could say we're customers. That way we don't need to worry about getting in. Course he'll have defences. Howsabout we park up and scope the place out on foot?"

Oz slowly inclines his head to the side, "Window, movement. 3rd floor over there. Could be pigeons, could be hobos, could be a sniper. If it is a sniper he's an amatuer for moving. Look slowly, let's not let the guy know he's been made."

Any windows to this warehouse?

Oz leaves the the engine ticking over in neutral and ready to flick the lights to full beam to blind anyone in the front arc (ie: Skyler's car). He'll take a good look around and then begin to load up the magazines of his two new Avengers.

Kea will reseal the door and repressurize the cabin, whilst that is happening he slips into a pilots position and attempts to stabilize the OTV.

"Lets do a reconaissance. Park a block or so away and check the area out on foot? Let's see what kind of set up he has," he pauses, "Oh, and if you want to call each other by name feel free, but please don't bandy mine around in front of people who don't have a pressing need to know."

Oz nods, he's happy, "Shall we do business?". He silently counts out 400 in bills on the counter.

As the first case opens Oz looks at the .44 with something approaching interest, gives a snort at the writing on the .380 ammo case and averts his eyes from the .50. The second case gets rather more interest, especially the Avengers. The longarms get a slightly cursive look, the Ak is a waste of time but the other two may have potential.

"May I?", he gestures to the Avengers. When he gets his hands on them he goes over them fairly thoroughly and checks out the action, when he's finishe he looks back at Nazir, "How much?"

"I suggest we try getting in quietly first. I can make a fair stab at that. If it comes to a fight I'm quite happy with my protection and I have my Sternmeyer and my Avenger. I'm quite attached to each though, so if Nazir has some throw-away second hand pieces I can use I'd rather employ them then leave one of my own bullets in some one and have to dump the piece."

"If Nazir has a suitible shotgun going I'll pick one up on general principle, I might not use it though."

"You want Body armour - use the goons we're going to waste later. Much more efficient that way.

Automatic weaponry? - a sniff of that'll bring the cops.

Vision aids? - we'll just have to go with what God gave us.

Recon? - I expect we'll be checking the place about before we go in.

Insertion plan - go in, keep gunplay to a minimum so as not to alert the whole neighbourhood.

Extraction plan - Run like crap back to the car and bug out."

"You guys want to loot the place for reasons of your own that's fine. I just don't want us to still be there if the cops show, and I'd like the crime scene to look as unprofessional as possible. So it looks like a disagreement between addicts - fight, OD whatever. We roll in and take the kitchen sink, dat ain't gonna wash..."

OOC: What's the district like (beyond the description on page 9 I mean)? Plenty of cops or does no one bother? Lot of traffic, what?

Oz gently pulls the car away from the curb, "Nice pleasent business arrangment, just hav ta make sure we betray the other gois before they betray us. This Skyler dude bringing anything usefult to this party?"

"Greatest good, greatest number. A little vacumn never hurt anyone, much," Kea hammers on the side of the OTV a few times to see if Richard responds and tries to hail on the radio. If he doesn't get a response then he is going in.

As there is no double airlock here I presume that it will depressurize the cabin before opening the door to avoid losing air unecessarily and blasting anything out into space.

"I am all over it," Oz walks to the car, deposits the weapons under the passanger seat (apart from his) and brings it round.

Oz saunters back towards the car, there's a slight feeling of deja vu as he does so, but he shrugs it off.

I'd be more than happy to carry on.

How about we ret con to Oz keeping the car warm outside while the other two go in?

That gets us back together with minimal hassle.

"Oh shit," Kea braces himself and leaps across the void between the two vessals.

"Goddamn, Danielle, Richard you copy?" Keas looks to see what condition Danielle is in as he gets ready to open the airlock - with the OTV depressurized that shouldn't be a problem - and make contact with the Deep Space OTV, if he can't raise Richard he'll walk across.

Given that an AV is basically a Harrier without lifting surfaces I can't see it as being particularly safe or efficient, not even compared to an Osprey...

I was going with 3,000 kilos cargo for the Be12 for the game I'm running. That is making the assumption that it's working pay load in a passenger/cargo configuration is the same as it's weapon load out as a warplane.
