And it's a wonderful way to set the players up for those suicidal runs against those paranoid, psychotic gun/drug runners/ gang leaders. Or even nastier stuff if the cops are bent.
Remember, dying is letting them off easy!

Could you get round the sighting problems by using a movable sight linked (somehow) to the selector switch for the power level? Presumably since the propellent charge is changing by a fixed amount it should change the aiming characteristics by a fixed amount.
-
Is that anything like a magnum round, then?

Just don't take me seriously, I'd hate to be known as "The guy that killed all tourism in Finland"
There's tourism in Finland?!?
And I thought it was just a Monty Python song.

These are also usefull for producing match ammunition for a specific weapon. Or for the 2020s equivilent of "wildcating." Especialy with the upwards creap of musel velocity, I somehow think that custom munution will be far more common than implied in the books.
What's 'wildcating'?

Not only are they legal but you're technically still legally obliged to shoot every Sunday.

And what is it with cyberpunk and Finland??

I would have thought it was a lot harder post-Dunblaine, though. And aren't you limited to .22 weapons as well?
-
would you?
in Chrome
I don't know, if you look at the amount of metal people are already willing to stick in their body I can't see a cyberlimb being that outre.
Personally, the only thing I would go for are cyberoptics.

Weird. I know in the rest of the UK you need insurance if you want to participate in an organised shoot, but that's about it.

Thanks for that, Thumper.

And for walking tanks, I suggest explosives or HEP rounds - they *ignore* :cheesy: the armor, no matter how many SPs.
I prefer vomit gas, don't you just wish you had spent the money on that independent air supply?

Not suprised, bows are legal.

But at least the ones with passports know we are not just another state.

Thumper, every time I try to open the cyber city page on your site my browser crashes. Whats up?
(Using AOL v5.0)

I don't mind where we create it, just as long as we create it.

Supernova, he was probably just a decoy...look out behind you!

full body conversions are fun to play with. I once had a whole party of them so I stuck them in the jungle. Between the heat and the humidity their cooling systems couldn't cope. I told them they were only guarunteed for temperate climates.

Cracking cheese, Spudfairy!

I haven't GMed for a suit yet, but if I was going to here is what I would do. Start by sorting out all the background work for him i.e which corp he works for; what the immediate power structure above and to the sides of him are; what resources he has access to. I would then make him head of a troubleshooting taskforce with the rest of the characters as the team.
Things to throw at them can then be tailored to fit this setup but two things that spring to mind are
1) Make sure this consignment arrives on time and intact. (for a one-off session)
2) Drive our competitors out of this area, or its reverse - stop our competitors driving us out of this area. (for a campaign)
You should be able to have a lot of fn making the corp player responsible for everybody elses actions.

Amber is an interesting system/setting.

Not to mention the cheese...

Thanks.
