Jonny makes his way to the sink to splash some water over his face.

"Yeah," he says to the old guy in passing, "Somehting tried ta get in via the drain, but ran off 'fore I could pour a bottla bleach over it. After that we piled some boxes on it and never heard from it again."

Okay by me!

Jonny will grab the biggest, heaviest crate of chemicals or stuff he can find, enlisting Nick's help if required and place the crate directly on top of the drain.

Then he'll flush the loo, flip the seat down, sit on it and browse the copy of Hustler, leaving the door open so he can see into the room.

As soon as Vince has gone, Jonny leans against the corpse and takes a deep breath.

"Man, I dont mind hanging with a stiff, I mean, I went to the Marylin Manson tribute concert, but Vince is startin' to give me the creeps. Damn I wish I'd bought my axe!"

"I guess we'd better check the place for other drains the little dude could squeeze in through and block 'em off."

Jonny shivers slightly. "Knock yerself out, but I dont think I'm gonna need much to stay awake."

Jonny frowns, thinking really hard. (If this was any other game, you'd be able to see smoke rising from his ears ).

"Wait a minute Vince," he says slowly as Vince is screwdriver hunting. "Whatever's down there doesnt know, that we know, about it being down there.

"And if we do the screw back up, then it will know, that we know, that it's been trying to get in that way, and it will try another way we dont know about."

"So if we dont do anything, it will probably come back the same way, except this time we'll be waiting for it." he says triumphantly, pleased with his amazing feat of logic.

"It's gone." Jonny announces quietly, listening hard. "Dunno what the hell it was, but it aint there no more."

Times like this I wish Jonny were smarter so I could say what I wanted

Jonny waves to get Vince and Nick's attention, then points to his eyes and then at the drain cover. Once he's sure their looking at the drain cover, he'll holster his revolver, grab his SMG from the corpse and rummage through the box of chemicals in the corner for anything that says "Acid", "Corrosive" or in a pinch, "Flammable".

OOC : If the lights arent on, Jonny will use his low-lite cyberoptics.

IC :

Jonny starts to reach in his pocket for a tissue for Vince, then hears the scratching. Frowning, he points towards the floor and slowly places his SMG on the slab with the corpse, drawing his revolver from its shoulder rig and downing the safety.

He taps his ear and motions towards the floor near the tables, before advancing cautiously towards the sound.

OOC Roll is a 7. Cyberaudio picking up anything interesting?

(Assuming the deceased is on a slate in the middle of the room)

Jonny is standing between the window with the blood spots and the corpse, with his back to the window.

"Two on one off sounds good to me." Jonny shrugs. "Who wants to crash first?"

"Whoa whoa, settle down rambo! Dont we haveta guard the stiff tommorow as well? Cos if we do, we're gonna walking around like zombies if we stay up here all night.

"Why dont we just have one of us at the front and the others crash here with the stiff, and we change over ever few hours?"

"If the alarm dont wake us whoevers on guard will."

"Hey, maybe there were these like ten inch high little theives and they came in through the window, heh heh."

Jonny looks at the round spots curiously.

"Hey, whats that?" he says loud enough for everyone to hear, and goes over for a closer look.

Jonny rolls a 9. (Actually he rolled a 19, I cant find my D10 at the moment. Musta painted over it when decorating )

"Musta been an inside job then." Jonny nods slowly, trying to look like he knows what hes talking about. "Who else apart from yourself and your old lady could have got in here?"

Jonny glances sideways at Vince. "Yeah, uh, pleased ta meecha too. I'm Jonny, Jonny Tyso. Licenced to break hearts and take liberties."

"And I dont have nothin to do with ungoldy machinators either." he adds. "Cos I heard it makes ya go blind."

"So whats the deal with the dead dude?"

"Hey, settle down pops. Mister O'Donnely sent us to keep deathwatch on the stiff. Make sure he dont get up and go for a walk, dig?"

OOC And O'Donnely employed Jonny for his charm and tact

"Hey Nick, drop me off out fronta the place. I'll go in and scope things out while you hunt for a parking space."

Jonny watches Vincent make his escape. "Looks like I'm riding with you. I think I offended his Holiness the Vince."

"Sounds good to me." Jonny grins again.

Theres a glass partiton on the counter between us and the staff, right?

Jonny huffs on the glass and quickly sketches his number in the mist, ending with a wink at Annie.

Jonny ignores Vinces FTSM completely.

"Coulda been me, I did a couple a gigs last week. When you go in through the artists entrance, a lotta the time you dont know where you're playing when you get on the stage."

"Heck, theres this one place I played once where 'backstage' is actually a basement and there's stairs up to two totally different clubs. Theres more than one band played the wrong place before now."

*Charm mode*

"Tell ya what, I'm on a job for a friend right now, but if ya look me up afterwards, I can probably swing you a backstage pass for a few gigs. I can get backstage on most clubs even when I aint on the bill."

Jonny nods and cracks one of his trademark $750-at-the-corner-clinic smiles.

"Probably. I've played a few gigs in this town. Even been on MTV once or twice."
