    I've seen pics of this guy before...it's pretty frigg'n nasty!  On the plus side, at least the chick on the right is SERIOUSLY hot!  I saw a few Faye Valentines (not to mention a few Yunas, Tifas, and Fujiko Mines) at Otakon that I would have loved to have taken home to my hotel room  ;)

    Seriously, I'm not totally against guys cros-dressing for conventions, I've honestly been wanting to dress up as Nuriko from Fushigi Yugi (cross dressing as a cross dresser...hee hee) for quite a while, I just haven't gotten around to making the costume.  A friend once promised to make an Urd (Oh My Goddess) costume for me to wear, but that never happened.  But here's the thing, going as these characters isn't too nasty in the over all scheme of things, at least i'm not showing off my ass, and as a costume would require, I would shave appropriately.  I would like to do an honorable, and tasteful representation of the character, vs. a disgusting...mockery, for lack of a better word, like that guy.

    ah man, I have huuuge respect for people who talked about their relationships openly in a public place. I feel well protective of mine & I always want to keep it quiet... but I think it's cool these things can be said when your other half is viewing.

    I've thought of inviting my boyf into the forum just 'cause I think he'd like it buuut, I don't know, he's such a gigantic part of my life it's niiice to have a little place in cyberspace where I'm away from the eyes of my real-life friends.

    I digress.

    Well, I have nothing to hide, she knows exactly how I feel, and I have no problems sharing my feelings about her with others.  If she didn't like me doing it, I'm sure she'd tell me to shut my yap.

    hot tips on Arasaka-assault?

    Well, if they want to get her back alive and unharmed, I see a mix of lethal and non lethal weaponry.  Heavy Handguns, snipers, that kind of thing.  If you have non-com's in a situation, and you need to pick and choose your shots, last thing you want to do is go with a fully automatic weapon, or something that fires a pattern.  I also would recommend lots of non lethal weaponry.  With the nonlethal weaponry, fully automatic weaponry is an option.  Here are some nice suggestions:

    Tazers

    Excalibur NightSticks

    Knockout gas cannisters

    Smoke bombs

    Stun Grenades

    Dumb-dumb rounds (for guns)

    Gell rounds (for guns)

    Plastic bullets (for...well...you know)

    Rubber rounds (duh)

    Nauseator units

    Sleep Drug rounds (for paintball/squirt/needle guns)

    Arasaka Restraint Casters

    Drug-A-Thug

    Beanbag Gun (more or less just a gag, but who knows)

    Stundart Pistol

    Webguns

    Black-Zap Gloves

    Microwavers (minimal damage, but good for disabling your players)

    ROFLMAO!  I don't have that going on here.  

     

    They had some nice "all night Anime Dance Parties" (actually, they end somewhere around 3:00 am.  Those were cool, unfortunately someone got hurt at one of em...oh well.

     

    But yeah, I think the thing that's got me all perky, bouncy and hard-nippled is the fact that SaphiraCat actually said to me "I want you to be my boyfriend again"  I think that was the ULTIMATE highpoint of the entire 'con!  Very little, or maybe even nothing, topped that moment.  Unfortunately I had to decline (with a great amount of regret and hesitation) because she seriously needs to date more people, various people.  I realize how it may be interpretted, or that I may even lose her, but I want her to be completely happy with choosing me, than her regretting it later with many "why didn't I date more when I could have?"

    Yesterday he told me that he's having second thoughts about staying with her. Said that the last week it's felt like she hasn't been making as much of an effort. I think that maybe he's also woken up and realised that he's with a 16 year old who's probably trying to get sex out of him, and who also appears to have some pretty big issues with depression.

    But he's still only thinking about it. He's gonna see what happens over the next week or two. >_<

    But I guess at least I know he's having some proper doubts and seeing that it's a pretty wrong situation.

    I too admit, I've seen a psychiatrist...it managed to help me considerably.  I still got my problems and issues, but I'm definitely better than I used to be.

    Well, a glomp is a really tight hug, but it doesn't end there.  Glomps are pretty much the running, jumping hugs where the guy or girl is the only one standing, and the other person is wrapped around them like an octopus.  I got glomped by some really nice Goth chicks...right infront of SaphiraCat, who didn't mind.  (There were people all over the con with signs saying "free hugs" "Free glomps" "will take kisses"  "Kiss me, I'm Vash"  "Free hugs to goddesses - Keichi's fear my wrath" (actually I saw that one on a kid who had to be like 10 or 11).  But seriously, I was kissing so many guys, hugging guys (sometimes more than once), it really really ruled!  I was so happy.  

     

    I'm just so glad that SaphiraCat never got jealous, unfortunately she was too shy to run off and hug, glomp, or kiss anyone.  

     

    Oh, and there were people who had mascots (anime mascots that is) who had signs like "pet Menchi before he gets eaten" (If you have seen Excel Saga, you'd understand the humor).

     

    But seriously, it was such a blast!

    Well, I just walked back in the door from Otakon, and it was great on so many different levels!

     

    For starts, here's what I picked up:

    1 City Hunter Art Book

    1 City Hunter Soundtrack

    1 Mobile Suit Gundam 08th Team Soundtrack (2/2)

    1 Stuffed Ein (Cowboy Bebop) <- SaphiraCat bought it for me

    1 Madonna DVD

    1 All Purpose Cat Girl Nuku Nuku DVD

    1 Noir volume 5 DVD

    1 City Hunter Collection 1 - Set 2 DVD brick

    1 Mobile Suit Gundam Action figure

     

    So, I picked up all this awesome stuff for less than 150$ !!

     

    Ok, so that aside, I got to show off my AMV, Gunsmith Cats to Speed Racer's Theme, and it went over well!  Nicely recieved!

     

    As for SaphiraCat and I, we're doing even better, even talked about getting back together  :D

     

    I gave and recieved a lot of hugs, kisses, and glomps from assorted strangers.

     

    So, anyways, it was an awesome.  I recommend everyone go find an Anime Con and check it out!

    Do you guys put price modifiers on certain chips?  I do , for things like Heavy Weapons and the like.  Basically I don't think the average mall outlet is gonna sell just anyone a Heavy Weapons chip, not even at +1.  On the other side of the coin, they are likely sold out most of the time of pistol chips.

    The problem isn't so much the religion, but the way it is often forced so fiercly down the throats of it's believers by priests and preachers. People are but people. If they are told something enough times, especially if it's said to be the word of a higher power, they believe it. So they think that being gay is wrong and evil because their god says so, ignoring the fact that gay and bi behaviour has been observed in other species as well.

    Also, someone believing in a religion isn't what makes it dangerous, it's them believing that anyone who doesn't believe in their religion is wrong or evil or needs saving.

    This is perfect example. They are trying to say that if you don't follow their religion there is no way you can know peace. It's bullsh!t.

     

    I don't say any of this intending to offend anyone's religion, and I'm sorry if I have. I'm just trying to point out that it's the human influence over religion that turns it bad. I admire people who can put blind faith in something many believe doesn't exist, but it's wrong to try convert everyone else, especially when they have chosen a different path.

    You've got a great point going on.  And it's quite true.  Thing is, I'm surrounded by fanatics in my area of NJ, and the constant pushing, and shoving, and seeing it on the tube, the radio, hearing the double speak and BS of our government...seriously, it sometimes does make me want to climb a bell tower (just can't find one tall enough).

    Actually, chances are she's likely got something else more troubling than she can deal with, going on , and she's trying to use sex as a bandage, or suppliment.  If she is feeling unloved, and/or underappreciated, she may be turning to your friend as a suppliment, or bandage, the sex is just a bigger gause pad.  I say this from first hand experience.  Depression does some serious sh*t to you...you may not realize it, but it does.

    For me, Average is 5-7 (using the BOD score scale there).  I find it interesting how many NPC templates have intelligence 4.  Odd.  I also use 3 or 4 for my average low-level NPC scale.  As for stats, I also have an age factor that enters in.  Like older people have lower bod and ref scores, but higher INT and EMP scores

    Why is everyone already convicting him?!  Seriously! I f-cking hate the USA!  Everytime a guy gets accused of rape, he's presumed guilty before the trial even takes place!  That's what I hate about this country!  A woman accuses a guy of rape, and he's royally f-cked!  Especially considering you can't bring up the woman's sexual past!  The woman doesn't even really need any proof, just an accusation is enough to screw the guy over!  I tell ya, it seriously ain't fair!

    Yeah, that's the other thing that's really got my head spinning.  The openly gay priest is now a cardinal (CHEERING).  There are more and more gay, or gay-related, television programs on the air.  Yet gov't's still continue to put up as many roadblocks against homosexuals as they can possibly manage.

     

    Why is there such a need for homophobia?  It's everywhere, and I just don't understand why people are even afraid of homosexuals!  They're normal people, they just prefer a different sexual partner than the "norm".  BIG FRICK'N DEAL!  It doesn't mean they're mutants or contageous or whatever...THEY'RE JUST GAY!
