I have to agree...B5 just has it all over Star Trek in the plot department, and Farscape looks better and is more fun - no wimpy Federation politics, they actually start decent fights!
That and they're morally corrupt. Always makes things better...

And they didn't axe it because it was lame, but because it was being made in Australia...something that p****s off the American Film industry...

Yeah but the b5 story/plot writer must have been fired when they wrote the last season. They either killed off the good characters, or screwed with their lives too much.

  2. well ok yeah i can see a difference. But i tell you what.

The brothers (men in general not trade related) from the nock are great. If old mate (someone in general) is getting rolled or havin a blue, its eveyone in to help. thats just how it is. Like when oldmate (my mate) was getting hounded by the pigs i was in the cops face givin him heaps. Even though old mate was in the right and the cop was full of it.

BUt dont worry about depression, we all get that. ive had it for well ages. and ya have ya highs n lows but ya live and survive.  thats how it goes.

I would, but then I don't feel brotherhood with anything much.

    Thats kinda sad dude.  :(

At work the brothers (boilermakers) all work together and help each other out. If one bloke gets caught up and has to stay back usually someone else will stay back and help. Its just like the most unreal feeling sometimes.

I still see it as a corrupting influence

well your opinion is your opinion.

But i dont see anything wrong with escorts. there just regular people trying to earn a dollar. And its an honest, legal profession. (well some/most of them are honest and legal)

My mum's agencysplit the payment 40/60 the workers way. The worker kept the whole of the 60%, adn the business paid the driver and the tax out of the 40% and kept whatever was left. This was because mum figured these women and men were putting themselves at risk to mkae her money, so they should get a bigger cut. They were all required to have protection with them at all times, and were sent to the health clinic every month to get tested for STDs. Not only that, the were fully covered by work cover while they were working. They got a 60% cut cash in hand and were looked after as best they could be. I don't think anyone ever left.

Its still nice to hear there are places that treat their employees as people not numbers. ;)

Speaking of bagpipes, I started to learn them one time. It was fun. I would practice outside adn make the dogs howl along with me. It was  proper little orchestra. ^_^

Hmm I always wanted to learn them. Ya can make some hell sounds with the bagpipes. Got a mate who can play them and its awesome when he brings them to parties. as we usually wind up in the front yard at about midnight were all about 3/4 full on alcohol and he starts playin. Then all the lights come on in the surrounding houses.

Imagine a woman running the show. :0  :0

    ::fwhump::

A women would run the show just fine.

Personally, I think it would be slightly more organised. I mean just think...didn't your mum always have your clothes washed and dried and ironed, and remember to change your bed linen for you, and have dinner on the table on time, and juggle groceries and bills as well as keep a little time to herself for her own interests?

Not being sexist or anything here, just one of my views based on observation. Dad's always seem to be the one's going "Where is my clean underwear?" and "Did you remember to pack my lunch?" :)

And there is that saying..."Behind every great man is a great woman."

I'll stop rambling now before all you guys start thinking I'm being sexist, because guys have their traits and uses as well. Muscles for instance. ;)

Well............... well ok you may have a point or 2 or 3

but i pay board money. about $1200-1300 a month so i think thats justification enough to have my bed made, room cleaned, 3 meals made daily, clothes washed, iron. But i do pack them away sometimes.

anyway i wouldnt think your sexist, even if you did ramble on for a lot more.  ;)

Say - how long d'y'all think it'll be before America could get -
    a) a female president.
    B) an african/american president (male).
    c) a female, african/american president.

Hmm... I'll take a crack at this...

    a) probably in the next 15 years

    B) within 50 years

    c) see above

    i think b with in 15 years and a and c within 50.

    in my humble opinion.

    Men are stupid.

Dude u say/post anything like that again i will break your legs!!. Then the brother hood of man will go to work on you.

What are they going to do?  Sing 'Save Your Kisses For Me' until we scream in agony?! :p

Besides, it's not that men are stupid, they just suffer from collective intelligence.  In other words, you should divide their average IQ by the number of men present to find out how smart they currently are. :D

BEHOLD another of Maleks heretic followers.

Dont mess with the brotherhood of man.  Ye have been warned.  "insert sinister laugh here"

besides i dont think save your kisses for me would be reall appropriate. perhaps something by acdc or metallica perhaps.

there are some people from the "nock" who can do acdc really good on the bagpipes

She's had some horrifying health problems. A couple of years ago she was diagnosed with endometriosis: a condition only women can get that messes with their cycle and causes their insides and organs to stick together. She had numerous operations to correct her organs, and then, because it was so severe, they chemically induced menopause on her for 12 months to kill the endometriosis off. That was one of the years she lived the whole time as a guy.

strewth you wouldnt wish that on an enemy.

  11. This may be a little off topic as its not strictly cyberpunk but these 2 sites made me laugh very hard.

At least the first site will help with proper grammer for gaming purposes. BEWARE LOTS OF SWEARING, USER DESCRESION ADVISED, BUT VERY FUNNY.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if all of them are, or were originally, men. Notice how they are all scrunching up their necks, or have it covered by hair? That's to cover up the adams apple. You can even see it on a few of them that haven't covered it up well

Thats a scary thought. I even seen an episode of the jerry springer show and it showed some blokes who had the operation and you wouldnt tell.  Got me stuffed why they do it though. but each to his/her own.

  16. But back to the topic (just quickly) I have read a few books that left me feeling as though i had my guts ripped out by a blunt spoon. It had some really dark/sad/depressing parts. And for love or money i cant remember the name.

But i do remember being in tears thinking thats so sad at parts (What can i say, im a hopless romantic)and feeling so wound up in parts, to the point were i though i was going go postal, then some parts were acceptable.

Damn i hate this mental block.

But i am serious about that coppa. I can always have a chat with him and see what he says. (wont drop any names or anything.) If that wont/dont work could get him to do a house call.

Oooooo....I nearly forgot to add that I love anything with John Cleese or the Monty Pythin gang. Those guys rock, and never fail to make me laugh. I cannot imagine a life without The Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, and Life of Brian. :)

And Harry, I remember how much it hurt me, so I can just imagine how much it must hurt the guys.

    Yes monty python does rule!

    Taking notes malek???

Tell me Bunnycakes have you ever seen Monty Python's Fliegender Zircus??

Thats german for flying circus (knew that german course would come in handy)  Its a scream. its 2 episodes of flying circus designed for german and austrian tv. and in the first episode the python boys speak german, and its not dubbed. the second episode is in english. but the german one is subtitled. VERY FUNNY. Malek gave it a mixed review when he came over and watched it. Some very funny restaurant scenes in it. I think you would appreciate them anyway.

And yes its amaizing you always remember how much those kinda moments hurt.
