  1. I think a section for AI creations would be pretty cool.

A drone/robot section might be good as well,  I recall a while back reading an interview with William Gibson where he said the real cyborgs are the drone/remote operators with the Mars lander crews being top of the list

Maybe something about body mods though I will say that isn't going in a direction that I find particularly interesting

There could be a section for PED and human performance enhancements as well.

  2. The worst thing about those zombies is that it's the result of a fungus and if they survive till the spores can fruit their heads explode and can infect anyone within 10 meters depending on the wind

  3. Strawberry-Cream,  that's the best thing that I've read in quite some time!  I look forward to any future rants you might feel obliged to share (as I continue the search for that lawn mower)

  4. I read the publishers description but it did not prepare me for this book. For the first time in years I stayed up past midnight reading, went to bed, couldn't sleep so I started reading again

Sakura is a vocaloid, the most advanced in history and she is the Metal Queen being an android (gynoid?) who plays all genre of metal music.

The back story is that there is an international treaty ban on all research into advanced military AI....this is cyberpunk so you should be able to see where this is going....

Anyway, Sakura can and does totally control the entire venue wherever she plays and can not only create animated graphics on the fly but and rewrite code while she's doing it. And that barely scratches the surface of what she's capable of.

Within the first few pages you meet her evil older sister, Kunoichi, who has attempted to override her core programming during a live concert. Sakura not only fights for control but more than salvages the concert and boost her sales internationally.

There's major fire power, gun fights, assassinations and hacking along with genuinely evil corporations and even more evil CEO's

Just read it, and listen to the recommended music tracks while you do!

  5. That's an excellent test for the Wardrobe & Style skill. It's something that is not considered as often as it should be even out in the real world.

You may want to consider a test for accessibility as well. Some carry methods are great for concealment but terrible for access while others are only good for access in certain physical positions. Examples would be ankle holster is extremely accessible while seated, driving, etc. or if groundfighting (better than JuJitsu) while appendix carry is very concealable and accessible while standing but almost impossible when seated and frequently painful as well

  6. In about a month I'll be having a partial knee replacement by MAKO-plasty which involves a robot burrowing in and doing the work.

My daughter told me I should get a big chromed knee with servomotors.

    I raised her right!

  7. Oooh, oooh, how about this?

    http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2017/12/14/ric...s-gun-violence/

CP2020 Chicago, streets patrolled by trigger happy, untrained and very scared Third World Peacekeepers, white UN marked armored vehicles idling on the sidewalks, remote controlled machine gun turrets spastically twitching from random passerby to next potential target. Groups of 16 year old Ugandan conscripts wearing tattered surplus uniforms two sizes too large hassling Christmas shoppers, confiscating food items and anything they think might be tobacco from fashionably dressed urbanites. The cold Lake Michigan wind whipping through the busy streets, the red and blue strobes a constant backdrop to the distant staccato gunfire, recently burned out buildings smoking in the frigid winter air.

If you add the fact that Chicago is the northern terminus for the Nuevo Laredo drug pipeline out of Mexico and the cartels would be very interested in offering O Plata O Plomo to the broke peacekeepers and possibly opening up more markets it could be very interesting.
