Hmm, if I could choose three languages, i'd go for French, Latin and probably something off the wall like Swahili or Arabic

Umm, I assume you don't mean blown as in splattered into tiny bits... I have listened to Kittie, did not care for it and prefer Evanescence.

These words I have before heard, but cannot their origin recall.

I suppose he will not be seeing much of Mr Snowdog in the following days...

Remind me not to envy your line of work, DS. this is driving me barmy.

First my main computer lost all Internet connection. Nothing traveled over the wire. Nothing helped, either. Finally, after trying everything and the kitchen sink, a reformat/reinstall of WinXP cleared that out.
However, now, the system that was first started on Monday has developed some kind of memory leak / performance porblem that causes the entire machine to grind to a halt after about five hours of use. Before the connection problems, our maximum uptime was three weeks. Twenty-one ****ing days! Now, five hours, give or take 45 mins.
Now, this would not be so bad were it not automatically assumed by everyone in my family that I have the skill/inclination to fix problems of this sort, whereas I am inches away from bursting into tears and beating the whole sodding device to tiny bits with a baseball bat. I just want to climb some mountain in a thunderstorm and scream "WHY DOST THOU TORMENT ME, THUS, O GOD!" (well, maybe not in those words, but I'm sure you get the point).
Sorry, I'm just feeling a bit shaky and need someone/something to vent my frustration at. I guess this means I'm swinging back towards depression on my mental see-saw.

Aye, the French still have that whole antagonism towards English going strong, as they desperately try to remain French in a forever more Anglicizing world.

Good luck!

Hey, many greetings upon thee, as well.

Oh what joyous tidings doth this day bring!
(can you tell I've read a lot of Shakespeare lately?)

Oooooh-kay... I'll never be able to grasp the point of the Japanese, methinks.

I thought I liked rock. Then I heard The Donnas and decided that if they are a representative of rock today, I want no part of it.

Aye, from me as well these most well-deserved congratulations and jubliations, also!

Well, I suppose there is nothing else to say than "One extends, he who is longitudinally, he, from of who it has it progresses"
That used to be "Live long and prosper", but it got mangled along the road

Oh man, hours of fun for the whole family

Also, I'm in such a rotten mood that it's taking all of my willpower not to go into a rant about time travel, temporal paradoxes and the philosophies thereof.

Scaremongering of that nature is really not very amusing in any sense of the word. I do not find his writings even remotely plausible. American Federal Empire? C'mon, even b-movie screenwriters can do better in the naming department.

Yes, it is good to hear from him.

Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to state that I think CSI is the worst piece of #### on TV since the last time I was in Åland and all the tellys were stuck of Swedish channels showing some kind of sick Swede-sitcom marathon. Thank you.

If that's true then I'm a manic depressive, twitchy mental case.

The quote goes "Just erotic, nothing kinky. It's the difference between using a feather insead of the whole chicken". It's in a Pratchett book somewhere.

Hmm, I have sold my soul to the City of Doors Initiative. They still give me time enough to hang around here as well.
-
Ah, familiar definition, that.

No, 'wyrm, it was the general lack of musical aesthetics.
