Hmm,  according to what I know or think I know he'd be over 50 by a good amount.

go back to the archives in rec.games.frp.cyber he's wrong more than he's right, maybe hes finally learning from his mistakes...

  2. BTW, does this sound familier?

"Yes, life has caught up with me. My business email account was hacked and used for spam, and promptly cancelled by AOL about 2 weeks ago. Incidentally, this isn't an isolated problem; there have been more than half a dozen game

companies attacked in this manner, to my knowledge, and a hint by AOL staffers in the games area that there have been far more than that. The web site hasn't changed locations, but you'll have to use the email address from this posting

to reach me via email from now on. Slowly but surely, I am working on the net.book, starting to fill in the various holes people left wide open with their ideas. be forewarned, my web host is undergoing staff reassignment and they have been slacking off on certain things, like keeping the FTP and HTTP

servers for the site online. The web server was down for 1 week and the FTP server down for 2 1/2. In other words, don't be surprised if the site is suddenly inaccessible.

But work and women have been consuming a great deal of my time as well, so things are definitely not fun..

  3. Sorry I dont believe a word that comes out of Danas mouth, he has been called down on his "facts" many times in rec.games.frp.cyber, his stories dont line up.

I think the biggest one is that acording to his timeline, he would have been something like 15 in the Gulf War

  4. I'd say kkep it alive, maybe quit trying to license it to eliviate some of the head ache and go back to what it was in the first place. I mean look at pyramid online, they dont produce a hard copy anymore do they?

Since this doesn't seem to want to die let me offer a possible explanation.  It's called "poisoning the well".

well I would never buy anything from Dana, he's poisoning his own well...

  6. Well I can say Im disgusted with the whole situation, I was told to quit deleting messages because some "people" said I was being unfair about it.

I think it would be better to shut the who message board down because it makes the company look bad and isnt "helping" anyone.

I am so sorry about the whole mess and if there was anything I could do I would. I have quit posting there as well, and have moved onto rpg.net, mainly because Im exploring new games

  7. for giggles I purchased a pre-viewd DVD yesrerday called "Code Hunter" and it actually turned out to be a pretty good Cyberpunkish movie. My only problem with it was the "weather control satelites" that the premise of the "disaster" was based around.

Ok, I've been playing this system for quite some time now (as I imagine we all have), and I've come to the realization that most gaming systems out there just aren't as good.  I've GMed StarWars, Recon, Kult, and Chill, and played scores of others.  Interlock just seems like a more ideal system than most others.  So a while back I started toying with mods for other games.  I had conversions set up for stuff like Werewolf and Vampire.  Nothing super, but it kinda got the ball rolling.  So now, with all the horrible things that are happening to that place A long time ago in a Galaxy far far away, I've started working on an Interlock variant for StarWars using both Mekton and CP for inspiration.  If you have seen my site, you probably realize I'm a pretty hardcore SW fan with the Imperials Posergang up (Cheap shill:  Next upgrade I'll actaully put up stats on Fetts Jet Pack and Wrist Weapons!), and needed to take it to the next step.
But what I really want to know is, has anyone else converted one existing game to Interlock or vice versa?  How'd it work out?   Was it a one shot deal, or did you stick with it?  Just wondering.

Ive done a couple of them, at least parts of them,

World of Darkness was really easy

Palladium was a bit more difficult

    both found under conversions here:

Well since, CEZ put the question on where does people's avatars come from and without trying to mix up another thread, I thought I would open a new one.

Mine comes from a larger image that has been retouched. The face has been run through a chrome filter, and then hand retouched to smoothe the edges. Took me something like 4 hours of work to do. Getting the image to have a good balance was a bit tricky.

Personally what I would want is an image of a robed and hooded person with a mirror, where the face would be. The other is finding 500+ bandages and warpping my body in them and taking photoes, which I would work into my image.

mine is off the ass end of my Lincoln :)

However, I doubt he is the real sniper. While there is very little information, my guess is that the police we are asked for some decisive action and neede to make an arrest to look like they were "doing something about it".

There is the inkling that a .223 rifle was found int the car, while Malvo, the teenager found with Muhammad, was wanted for a robbery involving a different .223, then what is  connected to the sniper attacks. We should get the final answer in 2 to 3 days though.

    -Chrysalis

.223 matches, there was also a scope and a tripod, and a "snipers nest" built into the trunk....

I dont believe it was a .223 that was used in the Alabama robbery

Because it's counted as artillery, and most people can't afford one. altho in some states you can own heavy machineguns. Like in Idaho (where I live). You can own a working .50 cal machine gun. Completely functionable. And I think you can own heavier weapons as well.

For god's sake, why would you want one?

I mean, I can understand why you could want a gun for hunting, or sport, or for home/personal defence, but for what possible purpose do you need a machinegun for?!?  Do the deer wear flack jackets?

Ill take you have never shot one before, nothing quite like mowing down a shrub!

Having said all that, however, there are still some people in the world who, brushing politics aside for a moment, honestly believe that the world would be a safer place if the untrained public didn't have access to high-velocity firearms. To some people, an AK74 is a weapon of mass destruction. After all, correct me if I'm wrong, but this sniper has single-handedly killed more people than last year's anthrax attack, and no one's defending the right for the public to bear germ warfare. What I really don't understand is why the NRA is so opposed to criminal background checks and tighter enforcement in the issuing of gun licenses.

because they dont work... if someone steals a gun (80% of crimes are done with illegal guns, in England it would be 100%) do you honestly think the criminal will register the gun?

they are talking about running balistic "fingerprints" on guns now, but a report covered up by the california AG says that they are NOT reliable... why cover it up? is it because there really is an agenda to get the 200 MILLION guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens?

more people are killed by Doctors Mistakes than by a bullet in the USA.
