  1. QUOTE (Companero @ Jun 6 2004, 04:00 PM)
A solo is a hitman. A techie is pretty much what it says on the tin, a guy who messes around with technology. A fixer is a person who organises, wheels and deals. An Assassin is in one of the sourcebooks I don't have yet, but I imagine that it is a more covert version of the solo.

If you want a (very) cut down version of the character creation rules I don't mind typing it up and sending you it.

Assassin is in the stormfront book I believe

  2. heres my 2 cents worth, the only stats that can be raised are BODY, EMP and MA, tech is also a possibility.

People do not get "smarter" they get better at the skills they have but that isnt due to an increase in Intellegence.

People do not get "luckier", they do not get "quicker" (they get slower), they do not get "prettier".

as has been stated you want to be quicker, cyber-up!

there is a skill in one of the interfaces that allows you to increase your BODY type.

Is Nightflyer still on this board? He should like that game...

I can barely stand D&D/d20, there are plenty of other games to do a spyish game... cyberpunk being the first that comes to mind ;)

  4. The CP2020 Character Storehouse, a place where you can store your characters or NPCs for all to use and see, with an easy to use interface.

the page is built, its just a matter of the web provider fixing a problem with excessive traffic going to an unrealted site on the server where my pages reside. (so Metropolis, Cyberpunk in Cinema and a few other pages are effected as well)

  5. I had five commenets (email and bbs) about my toll road article in the Canvas Project, wanting to know the cost from X to X, they will be pulling a travel trailer, and one of them asked about the bandits, because he has lived in Oklahoma and doesnt know anything about the bandits.

I hav also had people ask me where  they can become a ninja (my ninjas and superspies site) and where to order the guns at Brigham Arms...

Im sure there are more, but that is all I can remember off the top of my head

As to the topic of the thread, isn't it more likely that any attempt to ignore, curtail or otherwise offer up any special treatment to these individuals would  strike their egos in such a way as to increase their level of obnoxiousness?

If you were ever on Usenet, that is exaclty what happened, people would put him (Dana) in their kill file, and he would change email addresses/usernames to get around such a filter

    (Dana0000@..., diekillfile@..., etc)

I am wondering should I reply at all...

I should warn this is complete conjecture.

But I remember looking for Dana once through the internet, on what I know and I haven't found much outside of postings on various open forums (rpg.net and various newsgroups).

I do know he is most likely in his late fifties, retired ex-military person who has served in supply during the Gulf War (possibly).

He has worked during the late 90's with Terry Austin at Hyperbooks. Then he went on to work on world-of-barador an associated fantasy realm supported by his previous job, which was one of those infamous dot coms, which did a bit of everything.

He has been during 2000 - 2001 he has been scraping by by making webpages for questionable sources. He is most likely unemployed at the moment.

Likes shojen anime and is into collecting anime bondage figurines.

so hes not making the 100,000+ a year he claims then... see, he keeps laying it all out to be shot down, hes a sad, sad little man
