  1. I think the film leads up to a sequal. I mean City of The Dead, the last scene in the movie. Sure as hell looks like ResiEvil 2 to me.

and by the way, I must say that Natalie Portman is more or less equal to Milla in looks. She`s nice...drool

  2. Question: Do you think the people of Naboo are humans? It`s not like ten years of age have changed Padme`s beauty or looks, while Anakin sure has grown a bit.

Soon going back to see it a third time. Dool drool

  3. I saw this Resident Evil movie a couple of days ago, and I just thought it was great.

    But is it really cyberpunk?

I think it is the perfect cyberpunk spirit, with the Umbrella Corporation looming above it all, the high tech weapons and gadgets. What do you think?

    And what could be better?

  4. So she`s a dancer, he thought. Interesting. Maybe I can get hold of some info from the bartender. He grabbed his glass and turned around to the bartender. Cool blue eyes met his, and a chromed cyberhand gently thrummed the fake mahogny bar. What can I help you with? The bartender smiled, showing a row of yellow teeth. A breathmint for yourself, Kiro thought, but smiled back. I was wondering about that girl with the blue hair. She works here, right?

"well, yeah. I think so. She`s been dancing here every night this week, but she is quite new. Don`t know much about her, but the owner, mr O`Toole might help you."

"Where can I find him?" Kiro asked and let his eyes focus on the girl again.

"I`ll see if I can find him. Gimme a sec"

Kiro barely noticed the bartender leaving. He was all caught up in the blue-haired girl.

  5. What I mean, Darkmonki, is that small action figures in happy meals are the ultimate in commercial exploitation. Yes, there have long been all kinds of LOtR products, but not to the level it has now reached. And it hasn`t always been a huge sellout. It takes a little time before a novel gets that much publicity and fame. With fame comes money, and some money wants more money. Somebody sees the opportunity to make a calendar inspired by Tolkien`s masterpiece, and voila, we have a "sellout"; but it does take some time.

  6. Madness is probably the thing most people are the most scared of.

They don`t know how it really is, and they don`t really understand either. most people don`t want to understand, and instead let "qualified personell" take care of the mad person.

How do they react when someone they hold dear suddenly takes on some freaky mental disorder and they have to take care of/work with/fight this person.

Imagine fighting a person who doesn`t even think like a human. How can you expect what he`s up to.

What do you do if your best friend suddenly turns into your worst enemy, or oes something really scary he`s never done before.

Irregular behaviour is always scary, and there is no better villain than the human mind...

  7. I`ve got a good deal of experience on the supernatural in my games. I`ve used several types of supernatural influence in my games, but that has been with the crossover CP/Vampire game.

If you don`t wish to go that far, you could always use events easily mistaken for magic/supernatural interference, but which really just are frauds, or elements of their imagination.

You could freak them out by constantly having them experience small "accidents", or just make them believe something is following them.

A cyberform or animal hybrid RG-clone could very well look like something out of your worst nightmare.

I would advise you to use your imagination. Think about what would freak you out, and use it against them.

  8. The world isn`t exactly fucked. It`s just... ermm... mmm...

    non-functional. That`s it.

Well, it does work, sort of, but is is basically based on power. The guy with the biggest boots and biggest guns step on the heads of those with smaller boots and guns.

Noticed how capitalism is the only thing really functional in this world. And guns. And cars, sometimes.

    But other societies, no!

    Money is everything.

  9. I would say that is bad...

I think it was more for the especially interested earlier, but starting to include Gandalf plastic replicas in Burger King Happy Meals is a bit more sellout than it was before.

It is a great book and a great movie, but the other newly arrived additions are really bad. And expensive crap...

  10. Probably.

There is something called Ego. Nice thing controlling the thoughts of most people on earth.

Me first, then myself, and then maybe my best friend, but only if it helps me.

I think it is just the way our world has developed. A society where the primary way of survival is to grab as much as you can before someone else takes it and steps on your head.
