  2. I hope i'm not offeneding any of you with the way I portry my character. though if i'm Oh well just remember its just a game.

BTW. I'm not trying to be mean i just fell if you r offened then you should be doing something else other then playing roleplaying games. espelly CP because of the strong violence and sexual  nature of the game world.

Though if every one on the game is offened then I would be willing to change how i post. heres the catch all player minus myself and the GM must be offened for me to stop.

Now if none of you are offened then i'm sorry making you read all this cause this was done in a preamtive strike to make a point if there was a problem and to let you all know where i stand on this matter.

    Thanks for your time.

  3. "I sound good sammy", says Yoko, "Just give me a sec my tits are chaffing." Yoko unzips her vest and jumpsuit and ajusts her self, letting all in the van get a look at her rack, and zip's her self back up. She dubble check that her SMG is on SA and loaded and that her pistol is ready. She looks at each member in the van and thinks to her self,* i hope know buddy gets tangled up in there interface cables and get shot.*. Flips visor down and readys her mind for the op. All funnyness is left behind and take one a mask of coldness and sererous.

  4. Yoko thru the comm., "Sorry Sammy, I now i prefer the sheath aproch. If I come through the back I need one cover unit and that will decres the potenel crossfire. And if the rest rush the front after i have the lock opened they should not know there is a unit at there back tell its to late. Aslo just remember if you have to shoot you only need 3 shots: 2 the body 1 to the head. I also don't sugest any full auto fire, simi-auto should be enough and less dangeress to us. As a final note Flash bangs are your friend."

  5. "The brass that planed this job needs to get there heads out of there ass and let us do the planing. Just tell us what they want and we do the rest." Says Yoko over the Comm. " Opps I forgot they can hear here me. So f*ucking what they can bite me"

" I say we wing it and pick up the pices later. Let just all plan to go home. Cause I have a date that I don't want to miss cause I have to fill out alot of paper work of cause I need to have a chunk of lead removed from my sexxy body."

  6. Yoko leans back and put her hands behind her head. "Yeah let get this Op overwith I have a date with the hot babe in booking." She says, with the happy smile of day dreaming on her face.

  7. "Man have you ever though of going in silent" say Yoko, while checking her SMG and Pistol. She pulls down her gogles and hit the switch and looks around the van. As she looks at Jase a smile apears on her face and she says, "hay Jase yout body temps alittle high are you nervice or you geting sick on us."

"So Sammy were you want me."

  8. Yoko sits in the van quitly checking her gear and going over the plans paying close atention to the security systems of the building and the appt.

  9. i'm not a heavy hitter here, but i'm in the top 50. 44th as of this post on i have been a member sense January 2001. But i do fell Phipps is right its not on how many post you make but how good the content or idea is.

  11. i never thought about a bioCon. but you forgot the a very importent partthe main board and the modem.

i would also think they would have expation slots to add more and new hardware.

  12. Here are the rule mods i will be useing.

Rules modifications: I run slightly different empathy rules which are more complex than CP2020. It works on the premise that if you are already a psychotic who thinks he's superior to everyone with no cyberware, buying a wearman mkII isn't going to tip them over the edge.

Basically you have EMP stat...and then you have a True EMP. your emp stat is still your EMP, but the TruEMP always starts at 10, the humanity loss from TruEMP is doubled until the humanity is lower than your actual EMP humanity, and which point humanity loss is as normal, and will start to drag the standard EMP stat down.

The idea is that people have a natural psychological level, and will be mostly unaffected by some cyberware, extremely empathic people are affected by cyberware more than sociopaths.

I know its adding more complication to CP, but I've never been happy with players treating EMP as the stat which dictates how much cyberware they can get away with. And instead fits it more with a character. I.e. a solo can start with EMP 4 and get away with reasonable cyberware, a more realistic starting EMP.

Other than that, standard start-up, 65pts and 2xmonthly wage,

  13. Posting Guidelines

In the subject of the post always puts your character's name in brackets and a pertinent title for the post. For example, if police officer Bob is just arriving at a gruesome murder scene, a possible subject is: [bob] Arrival At Crime Scene

I really don't like it when you get twenty messages with the same subject, RE: whatever when the subject is outdated and doesn't actually tell you what the post is about.

    MESSAGE HEADER

Three things should go at the beginning of your post, your characters location, the IC date and the IC time. This should be formatted as follows:

    [LOC: Location]

    [DAT: Date]

    [TIM: Time]

This will help everyone organize events so we know what happened where and when.

    BODY FORMAT

Your writing style is a very personal thing and I won't dictate what it should be like, I do ask however that posts be written in third person, past tense. Example: Instead of 'I open the door and rush into the room.' Bob's player would write 'Bob opened the door and rushed into the room.'

    SNIP TAGS

Often enough, your post will be a direct reply to a previous post, either by the ST or one of the players. I ask that instead of pasting the entire post, you put only the relevant lines. Enclosed by <SNIP> and </SNIP> tags. IE:

Instead of copying an entire post where a player asks "Do you want to go?" at the end, do this:

    <SNIP>

    "Do you want to go?"

    </SNIP>

And then your post. The snip tags should be after the header. You can also put them in the middle of your post if necessary, like if someone asks you several questions, or are reacting to various actions.

    REPLY TAG

Since interaction with NPC's and PC's will be frequent, this tag is essential. Simply use it as follows:

<REPLY: Name of Person You Want Reply From>

This tag should be put at the end of your post. For example, if Bob wants a reply from the NPC Police chief, he would write: at the end of his post. Any ST posts that are in reply to a player's post will have REPLY: <Player Name> in the subject line.

    RESULT TAG

The result tag is similar to the REPLY tag except that it requests information from the Storyteller. This can be anything from the description of a room to a die roll. Use it as follows:

    <RESULT: Whatever You Need>

This also goes at the end of the post, right under the REPLY tag. IE:

Bob just shot an escaping ganger, since he obviously can't write the result, he puts this at the end of his post: The ST will then roll REF + Handgun, decide if he hit, how much damage was done, etc. and post it. ST posts containing results will always contain RESULT: <Player Name> as the subject.

    END AND TBC TAGS

Finally, at the very end of your post, you should either put [TBC] or [END]. [TBC] means you have somewhere to go with this post, either you asked for a result or reply or you have an idea for something to do in your next post. [END] means this post doesn't lead anywhere. If I see a post with the [END] tag, it tells me that I need to invent something for the player in question so he doesn't start getting bored. :)

    Joint Posts

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JOINT POSTSa more story-type feel and more cohesion.

    SUBJECT

The subject of a joint posts should be [JP: Players] Subject. For example if Bob and Harry are at a crime scene and want to write a joint post together, the subject could be: [JP: Bob/Harry] At the Crime Scene.

    FORMAT

The post should be written much like any other post, in a third person past tense style. The players involved might want to write it fluidly, like in a book or separate the different character's actions. For example, you can use the [Name] tag to separate which parts of the post belong to one character, and which parts belong to another. IE:

    [bob]

Bob looked over the crime scene and sighed, "It gets worse every day, doesn't it Harry?"

    [Harry]

The younger detective nodded, "It sure does..."

    SUGGESTIONS

I suggest Joint Posts be written as follows:

The player who starts, writes out the post, leaving space for the other players' replies, then sends it to the other player. The other player then adds his replies, modifies whatever he doesn't like, and sends it back to the other player. Modifications are made until the post is acceptable to both parties and it is then posted.

Another, quicker way to do it is this:

If you have some sort of Instant Messenger(read ICQ, AIM, MSN, etc.), simply meet with the other player on a certain day and write the post together. It's quick, though does require you log on at the same time.

    Combat Guidelines

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the World of Darkness, here, combat is a common thing, and death is something we must all face. In order to streamline combat and make it

COMBAT for all, I've written up these guidelines.

    I. ORDER

Combat is divided into several parts.

    1. Initiative Rolls

    2. Action Declaration

    3. Actions

    4. Posting

I'll explain clearly what happens in each part.

    1. INITIATIVE ROLLS

As per usual, each player must roll REF + D10 + (Combat Sense for solos). The higher the better. I will handle this. I will send a message with the subject: [sT] <Name of Fight> Turn <#>: Initiative. It will tell you the order in which the participants in the fight will be acting.

    2. ACTION DECLARATION

This differs from tabletop, in that you don't have to declare in a certain order. Instead, all the players involved must declare their actions privately to me. Actions should be brief, something like 'My character will try to hit the other guy.' followed by the stats that should be rolled, “REF+Handgun” .

    3. ACTIONS

I'll do the rolls, and decide what the results of the actions are. For example, if Bob managed to hit Harry in the face. I'll then decide what the damage was, and mail both Bob and Harry with the results.

    4. POSTING

Once, you know what the results of your actions for the turn were, you can post. For example, if you received a message that said that you managed to hit your target and cripple him, you would write a post with the subject: [<Name of Character>] <Name of Fight> Turn <#>:

This post should adhere to normal posting guidelines, be written in third person past tense with the correct headers and should describe what it is your actions were and their effects. This is the most important part of combat. Everything else is just mechanics, this is the part where fun comes in.

Once these four phases are complete, we start the process over for the next turn, until the fight is over.
