  1. Hell yeah. I mean Shadowrun is a lot of fun but the cyber elements I've always found myself borrowing from 2020. There was so much more material there in CP2020v2. And with the fps it seems no one is taking the ole run seriously any more. Which is a shame. Shadowrun RPG@SNES was a god sent for the CP community in a way.

Sort of wish the Bladerunner pc game as more rpg oriented like SR on SNES.

I have played Neuromancer for PC but agree with critics that a lot was cool but they could have pulled it off much better. If I had to pick a PC CP game of choice I'm guessing System Shock 1 and 2 but its been ages since I've explored it. Damn near doesn't work on newer systems (I've tried all the cracks too).

An SR RPG for a game console or pc that has nice graphics and is modernized would be a god sent but alas I don't think we will be so lucky. After all that's what makes Deus Ex 3 so appealing on many levels, simply not enough quality CP games out there.

  2. I think the two best published systems have got to be Cyberpunk 2020 v3 and Shadowrun. I've actually run cyberpunk like games with Guide to the Technocracy and Mage the Ascension for modern high tech and later in a futuristic world where the tech has the upper hand over civilization.

How about you? Any other really good Cyberpunk or dark cyber.game systems worth noting?

  3. That has to be the funniest post I've ever read, Long. :P

    3) No Chinese / Japanese Kanji. You might think your lovely new tattoo says 'Death Before Dishonour' but you're going to feel bit of a twat when you find out it really says 'Do Not Flush While The Train Is In The Station'. Same goes for any other language or symbols unless you are 100% certain you know what they mean.
Stating simply that I saw no tattoo because I was busy looking at the naked woman, and thats the exact opposite of what you want with a tattoo, no one looks at the tattoo when you're buck naked on your knees in bed.

That probably makes up 95% of past "partners" I've had (or gals I've wished I had). Something about the whole mystique of having something in another language really appeals to some people. There was this one girl that comes to mind, she was Korean American. Had something in Korean on her shoulder, it was big too. She didn't spell whatever it was correctly. To this day she has gibberish permanently inked on her skin. And the funny thing was that was part of the appeal... you know, turn around at 5 am and ask her what it meant just to have her storm out.

Well I guess I have a sick sense of humor.

So, how many people here are deeper into body modification than tattoos?
I think they are sexy but I've never been strong enough to actually get one.
  4. I'm getting some done, Nordic mythology and or wings deal. Actually I decided to save some.cash a few months back when I was really into the idea. So considering it long and hard first. Big fan of ink and piercings though.

  5. Hey all! Thought I'd make a post here too.

As some of you might have seen from my Cyberpunk RPG, I'm a big gaming nerd. Big into storytelling and writing and I look forward to being an active member of the community.

And on a last and final note... V3 is horrible. :) *Steps down* thank you
