  1. The problem is that the track I really want to put on it can't really be found on the net (well that's a lie... but the mp3 that's going round kazaa of the song sounds like someone put a microphone up to their stereo and recorded it) and I doubt very seriously that someone's gonna have it in their collection... but ok, if you like... the track is Writing On The Wall by The Threats (sometimes just known as Threats, without the "The"). It's on an album called Wasted.

    Good luck finding it!

  2. The range of songs is excellent, although I had to disagree with that Scissor Sisters one.... biggrin.gif

I have a track which I'd like to see on it, but I have nowhere to upload it to, so that's that idea out the window.

  3. I too will be forced to agree with Monk on this. I think the fact that there's too many newspapers/magazines/tv shows/movies etc telling people that sex is everything is a big influence on the way people think about it...

  4. Err... what? The thing about sex is that if you know you're not gonna enjoy it, you won't. But if you know you are gonna enjoy it, then it'll be great.

At the end of the day, sex is just another human instinct.

Although it's waaayyy over rated. biggrin.gif

  5. Hey, thanks for the advice, but just to let you know I did a good old fashioned system restore and turned the clock back to last Friday.  So all systems are go again.  I'm back to normal.

    Once again, cheers.   :uzi:

  6. Ok, I don't pretend to know much about Windows XP, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me...

I'm on my old computer just now, before anyone asks...

So yeah, here's the problem: I use AOL Broadband to connect to the net (lame I know, wasn't my choice, it's my dad who pays the bill), but all of a sudden on Sunday night it kept getting to step 4 of the connection process and saying "host lookup failed", and won't let me connect to broadband anymore.  I used a dial up connection with my computer's internal modem to get online, but when I did, internet explorer wouldn't let me do anything with it, just kept giving me "no page to display" and similar error messages.  The guy from AOL was useless as usual when I called, and I've tried virus scanning and using ad-aware and similar programs to see if this could solve the problem, but this didn't help either.

Anybody have any idea what I can do?

  7. Sneaking in the back door with dirty magazines, now your mother wants to know whats all those stains on your jeans, you're an orgasm addict...

you get in a heat, you get in a sulk, but you still keep beating your meat to a pulp, you're an orgasm addict....

(sorry, i had to join in)

  8. Gotta hate to love any movie with John Candy in it.  Especially Spaceballs.

And how about this: I've read all the Harry Potter books.  Which isn't a strange thing in itself, but consider that I'm a 19 year old male who's guitarist in a political punk band.   :and:

  9. Indeed, but if there is enough water it means that it makes the building of a base easier, as they can break the water down into oxygen and hydrogen, so they'd have air to breathe...

not necessarily. It might be very productive. it seems that a country can't prior some things without there being another country who priors the same issue but more, and to get someplace faster. Like the moon. Humanity wouldn't have gotten there hadn't it been for the Soviet/USA state of the world at the time.

That's true, but my point was that the race to be first can end in shoddy workmanship... something which the Americans especially have a bit of a reputation for, and has resulted in the loss of lives.

    And before anyone says anything, I'm not anti-American, I'm anti-everyone.  :p

  10. Yeah, agreed, Phoenix Nights was brilliant!  I got Peter Kay's Live at the Bolton Albert Halls, he's bloody funny.  And Dave Spikey's live one too, well recommended.  Only caught a couple of episodes of Spaced but I liked what I saw, especially the slow-motion shooting with their fingers...

  11. Well despite how challenging it is, it's gonna be attempted sometime soon, it's the next big thing to do in space exploration and I'm sure the Americans/Russians/Chinese/whoever will try to beat each other to it.  I think the pressure of trying to be "first" is gonna cause disaster though.

  12. Apparently scientists have confirmed that the ice caps on Mars do contain water (as they thought), and not just frozen carbon dioxide.  This means simple forms of life may exist there.  Scary?  Fascinating?  Both?

  13. Personally, I think the Transformers were the best thing to happen to TV.  And when Optimus Prime died in Transformers: The Movie, that was the saddest moment in film history.
