I remember I was once subscribed to a cyberpunk 2020 newsgroup with some people from these boards but have lost the address to subscribe too. I haven't seen it anywhere on this site. Could someone please help me out?

Because CP2020 doesn't have the now cliche experience system of D&D and such, how do you go about rewarding your characters? Or is the thrill of victory enough to keep your player's interest?

What are some different ways to start an adventure that differ from the usual fixer on a dark corner, "Hey you want to make some euro?" I'm having trouble thinking of interesting ideas that can later branch off into bigger campaigns.

I'm not too sure about this. From what I can tell in the Cyberpunk source book every thing that is connected to the net is represented by an icon in the Matrix. Is this right? And what would the netrunner be seeing in the matrix, would it look much like a busy downtown street? Any pictures or movie refrences would be helpful.

What would the restaurants of the 2020's be like?

Does the Night City map come in the source book? I've ordered it from Chapters it just hasnt arrived yet.

What techniques do you guys use to make maps for CP2020. Do you use grid paper, the computer or just start doodling on blank paper?

Do you have a link to the report? I think this is really exciting news. It'll be neat to see how this is used in the future.

I finished reading Neuromancer and I couldn't figure this out. While netrunning does the player see the net through their eyes or wear goggles?

I'm sorry if this sounds like a newbie question (I am) but I haven't been able to find the Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebooks in the Vancouver BC area.

Live Action Role Play right? Sounds very interesting but I have a few questions.

Where would you go to join a group?

Where would you play? Would you use some kind of urban environment?

How exactly does it work? My friend's brother was in a fantasy LARP I think where they ran around in a forest with wooden swords.

IS there an age limit? I'm only 14 so i'm probably too young.

So simstim/simsense are like movies except that the PCs feel like they are in the actors shoes?

I'm new to the world of Cyberpunk 2.0.2.0 and I have a few questions about the matrix in general. I know most of these would probably be answered in the book but I haven't been able to find a copy.

1) How exactly do the PCs jack in to the matrix?

2) What kind of materials are needed?

3) What feeling do the characters get jacking in to the matrix?

4) Are senses felt in the matrix? For example if you were to hurt your leg, would you feel the pain?(This might be answered in #5)

5) What is simstim/simsense?

If anyone could answer these or point me to a site that answers these, I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance.
