A friend had been recommending I read Vurt for a very long time. He finally bought a used copy online and had it shipped directly to me. I finished it a couple weeks ago and goddam was it good. I really like Jeff Noon's style. Great voice and dynamism in the story progression. Through a lot of story you can really get a feel for the main character's desperation and confusion. Everything is very fluid and I ended up reading the whole thing in about four sittings as a result. Not everyone's cup of tea, but fucking awesome in my mind.
