You gotta watch it in Japanese with subtitles dude. The way they altered it and the voices they chose for the English version dumb it down to almost DBZ levels of childishness.

You can do easy cropping with MS Office Picture Manager (if you have it). And about the martial art master thing, I guess you could be right. Though I'm thinking about a rather lame movie called Kung Phooey right now

He looks like... magical punk? It's nice, but not ninja-resque, I think. Suggest you perhaps make the clothes closer fitting, without the bell bottoms. Ninja tripping over his pants would be real funny

I thought so. No buildings overlooking the park, I think. Unless you include the 'scrapers.

The transition from alley to park was a little sudden. I assume the alley was close to the park and that you had all left the van behind to enter the park. Unless Zippo is still on a building overlooking the van. Does the building she is on (if she's on a building) overlook the park as well? A small park? No wait, it's supposed to be a largish park, isn't it?

Was looking through the posts at the beginning of the RP and noted something weird. Perhaps the GM could clarify.

Earlier, someone said something about TPCD finding me on infra-red. At that time, I though it was night. No biggie for me. I could be using passive light scope. But after that, it seemed that everyone could see in the dark. And Zippo's fire-shield! Night light burning bright. And then I go and use my smoke bombs. And I did mention the helicopter silhoutted so its got to be day time.

My head hurts. Infra-red does not work in the daytime does it? Maybe it's early morning and the building I was lying on was still cool.

Oh, and I need to ask again. What resources does an individual have at his disposal? I think I've already revealed all my equipment except for my Baretta.

I've decided to sit out a little longer and see the story flow for a while. Are RPs usually this slow moving?

Sorry about being absent, all.  I've been sick.  It was all I could do to drag my carcass to work, and being creative was very much beyond me. 

 

Which reminds me... Cranston, this may sound stupid, but what's a body suit, exactly?

Out of curiosity, are most of you North Americans? You seem to know each other personally in RL so I suppose you hafta live close to each other. Don't answer if anyone thinks this is an impolite question to ask on a forum.

Thanks muchly!  And, yeah, I'd love to give the other characters a try.  If anyone wants to see their character in ZippoVision, I'll need a detailed description.  You know, height, body build, hair colour, eye colour, scars or tatoos... that kinda stuff.  Post it here, or PM me, whichever.

I'm not sure if you read the post I was referring to. Wyndham made a post after Tama and before me where the van you folks were in was stopped by 3 cars blocking the way which I had shot at. Looks like this has since been deleted.

On an entirely unrelated side note, Cranston reminds me of my villain character Raynier in the old Zombie RP. Just thought I'd throw that out there

What is this discovery that Spyder made? Kinda lost just jumping in.

Also zoom in with the scope. It's not my ears though, it's the sonic tools attached to my arms. One of em has been set from the start to pick up sounds I can't hear up to 250 feet away. It filters out any noise that might put me into shock and sends the rest to my brain by neuro-connection through my arms. My character is still very on edge from the recent almost-battle, ans is quite on guard for betrayal, so yeah, his mind just sent off warning klaxons. With the city racket, there actually isn't much sound he can "hear" right now.  Just the quiet quiet stuff like casual conversation (loud yelling isn't "heard" depending on how loud the person is, but I'd hear that with my actual ears now wouldn't I? ) and . If someone had a dampening field, I wouldn't hear em at all, so my "hearing" does have a flaw to exploit. That and just don't make suspicious noises like draw a katana or load a gun. Bombs though...I'd most likely mistake for a clock or microwave.

 

Thought I'd get this out in the air. I'm not omnitient here. I do have my flaws, but sneaking up on a ninja is a really thing hard to do.

Lieutenant Cranston of the 1st Davion Guards, reporting for duty. Can I have a battlemech? Okay. Question time. Any rules regarding weapons, equipments, skills, competencies etc etc... Or everything goes within the context of the character type/class (i.e. magical girls can do all sorts of magical girl thingies). What classes are available?
