Remember when Ray took a 10mm to the chest , he was spraying purple all over the backseat. I never knew a guy could have that much purple in him !. It was a blood bath. Even though we cleaned it up the car stunk of bananas it was like a monkey's dinner in there !, any cop with a half decent nose could smell it.

No worries! ,I'm used to dealing with drunken debauched old farts it's just getting used to dealing with cyberpunked drunken debauched old farts!.

This assassin was known for very subtle hits , he made a lot of his 'hits' look like accidents & suicides.

He reviewed intel about a potential target , found that his target had had a certain model pacemaker fitted. Followed the target to his regular subway station.He jostled the guy through the moving crowds ,planting a wireless monitor/controller on his shoulder blade, it was thumbnail sized , covered in the same coat material and velcroed so it stuck to the back of his coat.

They both got on the crowded train , the assassin a few metres away, he pulls out a PDA, links with the controller giving him a detailed digital readout of the pacemakers stats and current settings he then proceeds to slowly alter the pacemakers finely tuned settings. He mutes the device as the warning alarms chime as safety thresholds are broken. The target has turned a sickly pallor, undoes his tie and the slumps to the floor turning blue ,quickly dying. The assassin rushes over with other 'concerned passengers' and checks the targets pulse whilst discreetly pocketing the patch monitor.

He lets the others take over with CPR and leaves the train at the next stop.

In the Cyberpunk world a ripper doc with all his knowledge and experience about the flaws , intricacies and design faults of cyber could make an interesting covert killer.

Now putting the 'usual' weapons down and maybe 'thinking outside the box' can anyone think of a nice ingenious way of knocking someone off that wouldn't arouse suspicion 'too much'?.

The only way to win is not to play. If the enemies game is to use a few borgs as guards then you must change the game.

Humans will have red blood , but clones/applicants will have...a different colour blood to differentiate them from human stock. There's diesel and there's pink diesel.

That should make you 2020 & 2013 cyberpunks happy , don't know about the cybergeneration or 203X's but hey !.

Is the interpretation of the Cyberpunk Rpg so rigid? (what is allowed / acceptable b.t.w?). The 3rd Rail Design Lab did a nice Cyberpunk webpage with many Technothriller influences, spies and Ninjas back in the day. I thought it was a nice flexible addition to the genre.

Don't we all have a little bit of spycraft and Nijnas & Superspies in our games from time to time?, and anyway If I do have them in my game does that mean I'm not cyberpunk?.

These are Q branch specially designed robot cyber bugs with little union jacks on their backs. They can carry a certain level of 'silenced , dampened' explosive or maybe a cranial drill.

Aggghh there has to be a way...to...take...down...these...goddamned....BORGS ! Aggggh

What would be the hardest cyberpunk mission?

i.e extraction of an individual from Sub Attica or infiltration the Arasaka tower to kidnap the boss. I'm sure that there's much worse.

So you're going on the hardest cyberpunk mission of your rpg career ever. Success or failure will come down to using the pivotal skills that the character is known to be exceptional at.

Obviously this legendary mission will need at least 5-6 outstanding characters from film ,book or T.V. So who you gonna call ?.

Please give a name and a quick resume of the essential skills for the mission.

Starting the ball rolling:-

1) James Bond ( Driving , swimming , escape)

2) Jason Bourne ( Martial Arts , Infiltration , languages )

3) Ethan Hawke ( Tech , climbing , disguise , motorcycle)

4) Danny Ocean ( Fixer , Mission planning , contacts)

5) Hannibal Lector ( Intimidation , interrogation ,escape & evasion )

What do you think would be the hardest cyberpunk mission?

Bond could send one of the borgs some type of electronic message which would have an extremely effective virus attached piggy backed to it. Something very subtle but deadly based on the borgs manufactured architecture or its peripherals. Exploiting an unknown backdoor for instance?

Or , Bond hunkers down , opening his cigar tube and shaking out two bug bots which scuttle over to the borg , ( all this is controlled by bond via a small visual display and thumb stick ) he drives it up the borgs body and it positions itself at the base the borgs skull ,he does the same with the other borg. When both bugs are in place he detonates the small charges which take out the brains.

Could a small bug bot , the size of your thumb produce enough 'bang' to do the job?

Similar scenario but instead Bond controls a Mosquito bot to fly over and land on the borg's breathing apparatus (intake grille? Vent?) and release a deadly but miniscule amount of poison gas. (Mosquito fart?). Could it release enough to do the job?.

Q branch has been coming up with new and deadly innovative r&d for Bond since 1967.

I mean at the end of the day people are still wondering how a chest burster grew into that 8ft tall crew/marine killing soldier alien. How did it grow so fast ? , what did it eat? e.t.c Explain that bit of science to me. The credibility of the science doesn't weaken the horror/action of the story, so I think anything that anything that the gm comes up with as to why Bug City exists will be good enough. I wouldn't know if Toxoplamosis or nanomumble mumble-tronic oscillators was actually made up as long as it seemed feasible and I was having a good time B movie plot or not.

Will a Nauseateor (It's in one of the chrome books ) work on a borg?. Can't remember if it works by affecting the stomach or the brain.

It wouldn't kill them but it might distract them enough to give them a virus.

Lobsters,snails,Crabs and spiders all have blue blood because it's copper based, grass hoppers have white blood, and many insects have translucent blood because oxygen is carried through seperate tubes, not in the blood.

So if you had some new cyber kidneys that could deal with a different colour and not filter it out , why you'd have a different colour blood I haven't worked out a reason for yet. Perhaps a new form of blood is used around the body to support different bio upgrades which need the copper to operate?. Then we'd have Red & blue mixed would make purple blood.

It might be a stretch but come on PURPLE blood !.

007 has been quietly climbing up through the casino's ducting to get to the secret top floor , he climbs out through the ventilation grille. Brushes of his tuxedo , peeps around the corner and see's two borgs guarding the kingpins double doors. How does he take out the borgs stealthily? He's gotta get in the room , the timer is ticking down as usual.

Try shooting through their eyes with his trusty walther PPK.

Phone his mate (Felix Lighter) who's on board a stealth sniper helicopter from hell to make two perfect silenced sniper shots to take 'em out.
