I'm pretty beat right now to do a decent post. Very little sleep and am hanging out with a friends four year old. I have a few things to do tomorrow and a D&D game tomorrow night, so if I can't post tomorrow I'll try to post sunday.

Good Idea, are you going to get in touch with her through her main connection? I was also thinking that we could have Lesslie help out with a few algorithms to speed up the search and do some mumbo jumbo cross referencing thing-a-ma-jig.

For shure, we also need limo drivers, prostitutes(male and female), drug dealers(Bennie will do a lot of the 'handling' of that and some gambling on the side?) We need waiting staff. Even thought most of the staff can be done with hand wave-um.

The television blares to life. An old balding man dressed in a fancy suit walks around a corner and comes into frame.

The man appears larger in the frame.

The scene fades to black.

Seriously every one who is looking for a game to play/run, join in. The game is very loose, and all are welcomed. The idea is to have a player ran game. If need be we can create individual threads for individual arcs(I've been thinking about starting one for Kabukiman's and mine for the soon to be party. So post your ideas in the game plan section and have fun.

Yes it is, I have not played it my self personally. But that is why Data recommended it.

Word of advice, don't get too attached to rules. This is a narrative game, just about anything flies as long as the story is put first. I rolled basic stats and a life path to get my first character started and then I ignored the skill points and just said that he/she was an excellent artificial life/inteligence programmer and was from a well to do family from the cairo arcology(DataDreams suggestion). Reading the former posts is a definate plus. Im thinking about breathing new life into Mr. Bennet(cause he is a good story arch) and since he thinks he is big time(at one time he may have been) he would have more fingers in pies than just Lesslie's and Aria's(Ive been thinking about taking over Aria, so I can progress that part of the story a little more.

Keep in mind new combers that I am(allbeit slowly) compiling all of this in to a pdf readable format, which I should get off of my facebook gaming lazy lib-tard ass and get it cracking again.

Only played the first one, but it also was heavy on the combat and light on the netrunning. But tbeing damaged by foobaring was cool.

I'm surprised that the main page for this game has not been posted till now.

Sorry about the lateness of the posting Kabuki but I was gearing up for my little holiday I took this last weekend. I was also thinking about how to tie my new characters into your story. Wish we had a few more people to contribute in this. I am going to be post more about Mr. Bennet in the game plan, I am going to put all of my thoughts down in there that I have had about him when I made him up and all of the things that Datadream added.

That is what I kept trying to get going, and that is why I started to game plan thread. Since my main thread is heavily tied up with datadreams, I started another character set. They are basically going to be street level addicts/thieves, so let me know if you need to interact with them.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but last night (just for fun and to get the mechanics down for me) me and part of my group had a 'virtual fire fight'. One of the characters was behind a raspberry bush about 20 meters wide and the other one was behind a hill. The one behind the hill wanted to open up on the bush in a certain amount of space, so I decided to use the suppressive fire rule I just read from the 2020 core book. Anyways it was giving me weird numbers using the way they suggested to calculate. They suggested number of rounds divided by the fire zone size versus athletics plus ref plus 1d10. The bullets had no chance of hitting at all.

Long story short I used number of rounds divided by the size of the fire zone plus the attackers reflex plus the weapon skill (rifle in this case) plus 1d10 versus the targets reflex plus athletics plus 1d10. With the thirty rounds flying at a 3 meter space, one bullet hit the target in the head incapacitating them and eventually killing the target. I was satisfied with the out come.

Was wondering if any one had an opening in a running game. I am dying to play something a little more active.

Sorry for the short post this time. Finally the holiday has passed and now I am done with making zombie appliances for now. And everything else settled down, and I get this messed up sickness that is apparently nocturnal. After 8 or so my temperature rises and I start coughing. Weird. I'm still going to post what I can in this game. Hope DataDream comes back soon so that main story arch can continue. Thank you all again for playing. And to those who wan't to play, go ahead and start posting Idea's in the ooc threads, and we all can figure out how we can make it work.

Kabukiman thanks for posting your characters info, I really appreciate you sharing Mion. Well who's next to post? If you don't post I will poke you with a dull spoon. lol.

By the way, you can totally use Mion for the hours she was in the club when the drugs affected her, since she doesn't remember a thing, occupied as she was with her hallucination...

I was thinking about having Lana interact with her at some point, or at least have her see Mion in passing.

The more is definitely better. DataDream seems to be stuck in reality at the moment, so I say just start posting(if you are comfortable posting with out the 'gms' approval. I doubt he would mind, he said the game is open ended. If you got something awesome in mind, run with it I say. I would recommend posting in the game plan what you have in mind and or ask questions about what we have in mind.

To every one, I have totally been wanting to post more. I finally got a major hurdle for me out of the way. I'm planning on posting what Lana and Martha are doing while Lesslie stand in the middle of the club twiddling her thumbs.

does diamond age have a significantly less annoying protagonist? might have to check that one out if that's the case
