  1. Hm.. this is tricky. Of course, if they don't want you to know whodunnit, they'll just do a common-or-garden-variety hit. But they'll most probably want you to know. You could use the 'cuban necktie' from Virtual Light by Gibson, wherein the throat is slit and the tongue pulled out through the hole. That's a neat one. It's up to you to decide what gang does that, tho'. Just a suggestion.

  2. well when I said 'combat sheet' I didn't mean the rules for a combat round (by the reference to Karen's site it seems that you do), but a sheet to put all handy info on for my players so they don't have to (for example) add up all the accuracy + handgun + ref all the time. In other words, a sheet to make my players job easier, not mine. (I've already got lots of those).

  3. I would've posted this in CP2020 gen. chat, but it's screwed:

*coughcoughFIXITPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEcougcough* (what? me? Just clearing my throat, that's all)

I'm thinking of making a sheet for my half-arsed players with everything about combat on it to speed up fights. Stuff like: tables for armor and hit points for each part of the body (making me able to use a system where i can get wounds to heal individually), ammo 'checklists' ( a small square for each bullet, aranged into a system of clips, a great way of keeping track), lists of what the final outcome of each attack roll will be (you jot down [for example] your handgun skill, ref, accuracy modifiers for the gun in question, write the sum, and just look at that when you need to roll instead of adding up every time). Maybe some other stuff as well? Any good ideas for what might be useful on this sheet? anyone interested in helping out with the making? Anyone out there know of a decent .pdf editor that's free?

  5. yesyesyes! count me in for at least testing and webdesign. But I think you oughtta define it a little better. Is this gonna be a GM-helper (cause that *is* what you mean by computer aids, right?) or a game? Personally I'd *love* some electronic GM-help.

  6. The techie in my (unfortunately) combat-oriented group needs something to make the game more fun for him. Of course, I'll try to use his abilities better, but I was also thinking about gadgets that could make him directly more useful in combat. any ideas?

  7. thanks. Some of them I had already figured out, but the 'glinting of a lens' is really good. Keep 'em coming, I got a lot of harassment to instill on my players. Also, as I said, I'm looking for a bit more aggressive harassment. Most of these (like the lots of awareness checks) is to give the players the feeling that they're being shadowed. I want the characters to be friggin' sure that they've just got some very powerful, bad, unidentified MIB on their ass.

  8. I'm on the lookout for some creative suggestions to make the players realise (not just get the feeling ..., really *realise*) that they're being shadowed. Not like someone keeping an eye on them, but like one character suddenly realises that his wallet is stolen, finds some anonymous MIB breaking into his apartment a few days later and one of them happens to have his wallet in a little plastic bag, the place where one of the other characters is burned to that ground two days before character is scheduled to be out of the hospital, a sort very 'aggressive' shadowing. Any ideas?

  9. Karsten that's gonna be my new Mob method of 'punishing' people. If they owe big money, the Mob will give them an implant that works just like that. Everybody 'in the know' will know that that guy is desperate for money and will give him bad deals smile.gif
