Just read excerpt of Pattern Recognition. It's not future. Still it had cyberpunk feel. Had to come from the brand-dropping Gibson uses. Don't know.

I'd like to add Greg Bear's "Petra" (was it?), a short story you can find from Sterlings "Mirrorshades" anthology. I remember correctly it was about gargoyles that live in a church.That doesn't sound very cyberpunk, now does it?

So no, cyberpunk doesn't require cyberspace, or future, or technology, or even a hacker protagonist.

I pretty much hate every sci-fi series these days.

So TV: The Simpsons, Friends, Gilmore's Girls and Late Night with Conan O'Brien...and Emmerdale

Oh yeah, at this point I could eat my words. Punk doesn't suck. Not all punk suck. Hardcore doesn't suck. But skate-punk still sucks (that being said I think Travis (from Blink-whaddever) is pretty good drummer).

Spare time...Umm, I watch lots of DVDs (bought 7 just few weeks ago) and listen to music. Yeah. Lots of music. Then I hang out with me buddies and with me girl. And then I go to my home town and play with me other buddies (those Chrys' all-girl girls)...and let me tell you about our game Imitation Crime...that's a game which most of the straight male wouldn't touch with a long stick.

Oh yeah. Moloko rocks. And Aphex Twin too. Yah.

I just thought I'd update you all. I have abandoned the Sad F*ckers Club and now officially have a relationship. With a girl *gasp*.

And I bought four DVDs today. Fight Club-double-DVD being the most delicious of them all. And my friend will order Se7en-double Dvd next week for me. Yeiness.

No Harry, I am bashing the second one because it was technically and otherwise crap. I've gone thru these reasons millions of times. Can't really bash,trash or otherwise mock the third one cause I haven't seen it.
